I just really enjoy writing it, and even though I had a crisis of, “my-god-I-suck-I-can’t-do-this” right in the middle of basically finishing up, I still want to do my best for anyone who has actually stuck it out for, oh lord, years.
It has been years, hasn’t it? Damn. I think that’s why it’s so important to me—‘cause it’s just been there for a long time, you know, destroying my heart and making me feel all the feels. It’s really a remarkable piece of work, though, dude. The fact that you enjoy writing it really comes through; those words live and breathe.
